Family and General Dentistry

Dental care for every generation, from your child’s first visit to ongoing care for adults and older family members.

Every age, every stage, one office

What Is Family Dentistry?

Family dentistry means your six-year-old, your teenager, you, and your parents can all be cared for in the same office, by a team that knows your family's history. Keeping routine care in one office can make family appointments easier to coordinate. Our team welcomes families from Mt. Juliet and the surrounding communities.

Dental Anxiety

If it's been years since your last visit, you're in good company — and you'll get zero judgment here. Tell us how you're feeling and we'll go at your pace. Nitrous oxide is available when appropriate. We can also discuss oral and IV conscious sedation when appropriate. Tell us what would help you feel comfortable so we can plan your visit.

Common questions about family dentistry

How often should my family come in?
Every six months for most people. We'll tailor each family member's schedule to their individual risk — kids and adults are different, and so are their teeth.
Can you see my whole family in one trip?
Ask us about coordinating your family’s appointments on the same day. Each person’s next visit will depend on their care needs.
At what age should my child first see the dentist?
Within six months of the first tooth and no later than the first birthday. Early visits help us check development and build familiarity with dental care.
